They say on the sign that they have the best Gumbo in town. Well... They don't. The large bowl is not the large bowl served elsewhere. There is in my personal opinion a better bowl of Gumbo just across town Altho I will not mention them here but the building is Blue.
Inviting atmosphere, friendly service and great food. Daily deals are reasonably priced and usually filling. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We go here looking to fill our bellies with quality food and not empty our wallets. Highly recommend trying. We're coming back for sure.
The only thing we were not fans of was the slaw as it had pickle relish in it which threw us.
Server didn't listen well and had to make several trips to get things rite.
Had the grilled snapper at Bay City Steak & Seafood this evening while visiting Bay City. It was excellent! Cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. It came with vegetables which were fresh and tasty. Great food and a great value. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very impressed. Will definitely stop again on my next trip to the area.
Unfortunately we will not be patronizing this establishment again. Sorry.
Good little restaurant, comfort food for seafood junkies like me!
Had a great time with one of my friends. We got the fresh oysters and fried alligator as our appetizers, they were both great. We split the fried platter, everything on it was great tasting.
